Introducing Brandy Traxler-Storrs…

Brandy Traxler-Storrs has been a three dimensional artist for over twenty years and during that time she wore many different hats. And she wore them quite well.

You have probably have seen her around Coeur d ‘Alene, Idaho making sure that your favorite beverage was on the shelf of every major store – as well as every small convenience store, every day of every year for over twelve years while she worked for the Odom Corporation.  Brandy was the Merchandising Supervisor for the giant distribution company and was a vital link to enabling service to most of north Idaho.

She hired, trained, and motivated a crew of over thirty people while scheduling trucks and employees in the juggle to keep those store shelves stocked, especially during the holidays.  This young lady knows how to serve people and how to get a job well done.

Brandy’s bosses depended on her to keep all of the loose ends tied together to keep the distribution humming.  She would even work elbow to elbow with her crew, and fill in the gaps during staffing shortages.  She listened to the needs of her crew and consistently met those needs as much as the budget and flexibility would allow. All of it with a tireless, daily effort.

But that’s not all.   Brandy is the mother of four wonderful children and is married to a dedicated and loving husband.  She has decided that raising her family is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and a challenge worthy of every effort.  She has set aside her career during this time frame of her life. She knows her way around the kitchen, and has taken on home computer schooling which became a necessity during the Covid crisis. Her children thrive. Her husband smiles alot.

Brandy Traxler-Storrs

Brandy has a creative talent that cannot be boxed up.
It all began as a hobby while she was growing up in Alaska.
She apprenticed in her dad’s workshop and learned how to manage difficult hand tools to carve beautiful three-dimensional art forms, from select woods and polished antler.
She developed an undeniable skill, and has an eye for detail.
She has a unique creative vision for her art pieces.
She enjoys each and every art piece.
Those that have purchased her work in the past, continue to receive compliments, and enjoy her art work in their homes.  Perhaps you have seen her art work at “Art on the Green” or other art shows.  Welcome to her website as Brandy reaches out to share her enjoyable and timeless art work.

Each art piece has hand carved flowers or mushrooms and stems which are either from select hardwoods (including Juniper) or “polished antler” from whitetail deer, mule deer, elk or moose.
These animals shed their antlers every year, and the antlers can be found
just laying around on the forest’s floor!
The handsome and elegant vases which cradle the flowers or mushrooms, are select driftwood
and hand chosen for their eye appeal.
There are no two art pieces that are exactly alike.
You can be assured that the gift you give (or keep) is unique and one of a kind.
There are no carbon copies of these handmade treasures.
